i have an O'keete&Merritt double oven..the top oven stopped working with no power... I took out switch and cut copper wire leading to thermostate. is it true the switch is no good now that the copper wire has been cut..also the oven is over 50yrs old and apparently no replacement switch ava. thank you for an answer... can you explain the reading on the switch for me... on the left side is L1 electical fitting followed by the #1 fitting,on botton of switch is #2 and #3 fitting. on the right side of switch is L2 elec. fitting. a copper wire is coming out of top of switch over the #2 & #3 fittings. the switch model# is 720L00P02 thank you for your answer.
