Ice maker did not turn off and jammed bin. A plastic arm seemed jammed - not sure what it does. As a point on it.
How does this work?

If you could post the model number to the refrigerator I can help you out.

It sounds like the ice bucket needs emptied out and some fresh ice needs to come in.

If the ice sets for a while it can turn into a big clump. This could stop the machine from making ice. The arm is more than likely the arm that tells the ice maker if the bucket is full or not.
