How long will it take for the coils to get iced?

Maytag Model msd2656gew



Hi,

Would somebody please tell me if the coils in the freezer side-bottom part of my maytag side by side refrigerator could have gotten iced in a matter of 1, 2, 3 , 4 days? Could the water from the ice cubes (not working) have fallen into this area and be the accumulated water-frozen? I reaaaally appreciate all your input.
