My Whirlpool top loading washer is driiping water after it is turned off. I have shut off the water valves on the wall, and unplugged the machine. It still drips. It will go days w/o happening, but it always starts again. I don't understand where the water is coming from. Could this be the inlet valve??

Thanks

Hello,

The inlet valve is letting water seep through. Even though you shut the valves off to the machine, there is still plenty of water to run through and continue to drip.

Replace the inlet valve on the machine and the drip will stop.

Thanks,
Mr. Bill
