While baking last night we noted it was taking a long time. Opened oven door and noted it wasn't very hot. Also noted that the 2 lights for "bake" and "temp" knobs were not lit. Checked fuses and all are good. After checking fuses we noted the clock not working.(re-checked clock fuse and it is good)All 4 burners work fine as does the bulb in the oven. Now when we turn the knob to bake or broil and set a temp the clock turns on but shuts off when we turn off the temp knob or the bake/broil knob. Still no heat in oven. I unplugged it for 25 minutes and no changes.
I can't find any manuals for this oven, must be too old. Model; FW557W-3 S/N;NF42901576. I am expecting to read it is the EOC as I have read that the EOC is a common issue with Frigidaire. Is it worth calling in a tech for a check before giving this oven its last rites?
Thanks,
Steve
