refrigerator

I have a freezer above frig GE. A puddle of water from frig every other day in kithen. There was water under crisper drawers so I unplugged the defrost drain tube. The drain tube was not plugged but part that is connected to back of frig and then to the tube was plugged and I cleaned it out. The puddle is still there and I hear it clicking like it is trying to start motor every once and a while, but frig and freezer work fine. Can you tell me what could be the problem?
