Maytag washer stopped working

I have a Maytag model#pav2300aww it stopped working in the middle of the cycle, it's full of water. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and when I try to cycle it the timer makes a buzzing sound and I smell something electrical burning from inside the washer not by the timer.
