Amana ALE 643 RBW Dryer Will not dry clothes

The heating element comes on for about 30 seconds then goes off,after about a minute or so it comes back on for about 3 seconds
and goes back off clothes are not drying.
Any ideas?

I would have to say it sounds like a plugged up vent. More than likely you need to clean the internal venting of the dryer along with cleaning the external venting for the dryer.

The old dryer lint brush is not sufficient.
