My 4 yr. old Frigidaire front-load washer will fill and empty with water but won't spin or agitate on it's own. I am able to turn it by hand. Had a tech come and look at it and apparently a shock has been broken(which is visable) and he thinks the motor or motor board is broken. We can hear the "humming" from the cycle dial- he said it's not making the connection between the "cycle -dial" and the motor(board) Is this correct?? I read on another post that it could be a "door lock" issue; aside from the broken shock of course.
