I bought a floor model RS266ZDSB4 Side by Side 5 years ago. It worked for a year or so fine. Then I noticed that I had to keep increasing the thermostat setting to keep both sides cold enough. It would also buzz loudly when the compressor tried to kick on repeatedly until it would finally start.
I found that powering it down for about 2-5 minutes fixed it for a day or a week. I put it on a timer to turn it off for 3 min and on again every 4 hrs. 3 yrs later it is getting worse. Is the start capacitor bad?
