Cooling Problem-Amana Refrig.-Bottom Freezer Cold, Top Refrig. not

I have an Amana AFD2535DEW Refrig.w/french double doors and bottom pull out Freezer. As mentioned above, Freezer cold, but upper Refrig.not. Evaporator fan does not come on. I was told to take out fan and check for continuity. But I failed to write down the wire color schematic.Two wire plug harness. Color black w/red stripe and sold red wire. Color on fan is sold white and sold blue. Can you hook it up wrong, and if so, what will happen? Can I turn on the power and test one of the leads for power,or is there an easier solution. Also, if this is not the problem would the next step be to check the defrost timer? Thanks for your time and your willingness to help. Apquanan_62
