Mr. Bill, I have a Kenmore washer that during the spin cyle the basket will spin normally picking up speed but during the spin cycle; you can notice that the bottom half of the agiator will stop and make a popping noise; then it (bottom agitaor) will pick up speed again repeats the whole process over again.
Another thing that is noticable is that I can slightly apply a little pressure with my hand on the center of the agitator, this prevents the poping noise and can slow down the agitator. I know this is probably not a good idea but any help to resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.
