Noise coming from the top middle of the freezer which is the top section of the fridge.Sounds like a fan motor from what I've read online. Any suggestions for how to repair or where to find a repair manual would be welcome. thanks.

It sounds like you have something going on with the evaporator fan. You want to check to make sure that all the blades are still there are one hasn't broken off. If everything seems OK with the fan blades then you may just want to replace the worn out fan motor.
